The Huerta Montero residence is situated in a peaceful, semi rural area amongst the pine trees of Rana Verde, between the beaches of La Barrosa and Chiclana town on a plot 1200 square meters. This once forgotten about old finca, has now been transformed into three beautiful, unique, rustic ground floor apartments plus the mobile home and all the accommodation is set within a private lawned garden with it's own 9m x 4m rustic style swimming pool. Two or more families wishing to holiday here have the possibility to be together in the same location but retain some privacy.  We can offer you various options from self catering to bed and breakfast, long or short stays.  Some of the apartments can accommodate persons with disabilities.  Please just contact us with your requirements and we will do our best to offer you the best holiday solution.   For those extra large groups of up to 20 +, we have further quality accommodation in private nearby villas.

Our aim is to offer you a completely different holiday experience. Something you will enjoy and remember.  Not just a room in a noisy hotel or a remote villa, but a real Spanish home and to provide you with a stress free holiday in quality accommodation, with a first class service.  If you do not wish to drive we will take you to explore the surrounding areas with personalised tours in comfortable vehicles.  Angela speaks Italian, Spanish, has a good knowledge of the area and is able to organise many activities on your behalf.  Paul will ensure pool and garden areas are kept clean and attends to any necessary maintenance.

THE ACCOMMODATION WE OFFER AT HUERTA MONTERO

THE MAIN HOUSE has been divided into two comfortable chalet apartments.  Enter the Spanish style entrance porch then through your  very own front door into what was once the original house of approximately 70 square meters with two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen/diner and lounge area.  There is another front door that leads into the second apartment occupied by us. 

THE COURTYARD apartment is our pride and joy and is a very spacious two bedroom, two bathrooms, ground floor apartment with vaulted ceilings. It has a rustic feel and is full of character and charm. The kitchen/diner area is well equipped and the lounge is spacious and comfortable cosy log fireplace. Although it only has two bedrooms, the apartment can easily sleep up to six persons 
with the double pull down sofa bed in the lounge.  The high vaulted ceiling ensures the apartment remains comfortably cool the summer months.

Don't be put off by the thought of a mobile home. This one has been imported from the UK and has its very own veranda and outside seating area. You don't have to walk very far for that ever so essential cool off, as the mobile home is situated right next to the pool.  As you can imagine, all the furniture in a mobile home is fitted to maximize the space available and it is truly amazing how much space there is for all of your bits and pieces.  With air conditioning and central heating (not that you will need it from April onwards), it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. 

We ensure that all the grounds are looked after and the pool is kept clean and although we are not intrusive, we are on hand to help you get the best out of your holiday should you require any assistance.  As one of our guests said “it's like having your very own concierges. 

All of our holiday apartments are clean, fresh and comfortable and where possible, we have used furniture typical of this area of Andalucia.  The mature gardens have fruit trees, beautiful bougainvilleas, palms, and of course pine trees, which offer shade and help you keep cool in the hot summer months.  The outdoor kitchen area and BBQ is available for all the guests to use and you can pick your very own fresh herbs too.  Although there are two very good supermarkets nearby we do try to buy our free range eggs and veggies from a local huerta or even grow them ourselves.  You enter the property through remote controlled gates or through the smaller coded gate entrance and there is enough parking for three to four cars.

We guarantee to hold a telephone reservation for up to 5 days, to allow you time to print off, complete the reservation form and mail/fax it to us with a receipt of payment for the deposit.

We will always try to answer the phone during the daytime and during the evenings up to 10pm because we like to offer a friendly and helpful personal response to your call,  however if we cannot get to the phone, there is an answering machine for you to leave a message.
